BUSINESS PROCESS ENGINEER:
Responsibilities of the job will include:
Assist our stone wholesale business to grow, boost efficiency and benefit from technology through analytics, machine learning and facility optimization. Our company is a 26 year old natural stone importer, retailer and wholesaler without any substantial improvement in operational efficiencies or introduction of modern technology to increase profit, improve product exposure and modernize our business process architecture.
The Process Engineer will first gather organizational performance information by exposing and immersing themselves in our operations to understand and evaluate operational inefficiencies as they relate to separate projects including inventory control, logistics, automation, personnel management (HR Inefficiencies), POS systems, banking and accounting compliance, online exposure (website/online ordering optimization) and services provided by our business including design, construction and installation. Each ‘project’ will require the identifying of inefficiencies and then the development of new solutions or update of existing project plans including establishing objectives, the use of new technologies, process optimization, staffing optimization and required funding.
The Process Engineer will evaluate and introduce best practices to management and suggest leadership changes if necessary. The applicant will identify, review or select vendors or consultants to meet project needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible to develop operating strategies, plans or procedures to improve business process as it relates to the natural stone business.
Education Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering
