Vetrazzo joins Polycor
Polycor is pleased to announce a new addition to its slab line: Vetrazzo’s recycled glass surfaces. This acquisition is a perfect fit with Polycor’s identity: a North-American based green company specializing in locally-produced, environmentally-friendly products, a successful LEED project supplier and a group of innovative thinkers. Vetrazzo’s product line will be a natural extension of Polycor’s innovative offering such as the new 1cm ultra-thin slab. The beauty of glass surfaces coupled with Polycor’s ingenuity and capabilities ensures great success for this product line as part of Polycor’s slab division.

A Story in Every Surface
There’s something else you get when you choose Vetrazzo®—there’s a story in every surface™. A story about the life of the glass. A story about its transformation. And a story about you.
The Glass
All of the glass used in Vetrazzo is recycled, and it makes up about 83% of the final material by weight. The largest proportion of glass comes from curbside recycling programs. Other glass comes from post industrial usage, windows, dinnerware, stemware, automotive windshields, stained glass, laboratory glass, reclaimed glass from building demolition, and other unusual sources such as decommissioned traffic lights.
You and Vetrazzo – when the stories merge
Because of the unique nature of the glass used in the production process, every Vetrazzo surface has its own history. We track that history, and when you purchase Vetrazzo, we provide a Certificate of Transformation that tells you exactly where the glass in your Vetrazzo came from.
At that point, your story merges with ours, and a new story begins. You’re solving an environmental problem. And we think that says a lot about you.
Vetrazzo—a story in every surface.
